An event aimed at empowering women in Chatham-Kent is returning to the municipality for another year.

SheLeads Chatham-Kent will take place on July 6 at the Capitol Theatre in Chatham. The daylong event will include a lineup of 18 new workshops designed to empower, educate, and inspire attendees.

A dynamic panel discussion will also be held featuring women-identifying individuals who will speak to the power of working to serve the community of Chatham-Kent.  A fashion show will then be held to cap off the day.

Organizers noted the popularity of last year’s event inspired a SheLeads event in Georgian Bay, which took place earlier this week.

Tickets for the local event are now available and can be purchased online by clicking here.
