A Swingin’ Big Band Christmas to Support Wallaceburg Hospital Redevelopment

October 30 @ 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm

Wallaceburg’s favourite community big band, The Brass Factory, will fill the UAW Hall with festive swing and holiday cheer on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in support of the Our Hospital, Our Future Wallaceburg Redevelopment Campaign.

The free concert, A Swingin’ Big Band Christmas, will feature performances by Al DeLaet, Jackie Faber, and Midnight Syncopation, promising an afternoon of classic swing, holiday favourites, and community celebration. Guests are invited to make a minimum donation of $20 to support the redevelopment of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Wallaceburg Site.

Founded decades ago by local musicians with a
shared love of big band music, The Brass Factory
has become a beloved fixture in Wallaceburg, not
only for their musical talent but also for their
generosity and commitment to local causes.
Over the years, the band has donated their time
and talent to countless fundraisers, and this
year’s concert continues that tradition by
supporting the Wallaceburg Redevelopment
Campaign.

The Wallaceburg Redevelopment Campaign,
part of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation’s Our Hospital, Our Future initiative, is a $9+ million campaign focused
on modernizing and expanding the hospital’s facilities to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community. Key improvements
will include larger patient and treatment rooms, enhanced accessibility, and state-ofthe-art equipment, ensuring that high-quality healthcare remains “here to stay” in Wallaceburg for generations to come.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. at the UAW Hall (88 Elm Street, Wallaceburg), and all are invited to enjoy an afternoon of joyful music, holiday spirit, and heartfelt community support.
