175th Anniversary of the Brigden Fair!
The 175th Anniversary of the Brigden Fair is being celebrated during the 2025 event, which takes place from October 10 to 13. The fair, organized by the Moore Agricultural Society, was established in 1850. The 2025 fair theme is “Home Grown, Home Made, Farm Fresh”.

The 2025 Brigden Fair, celebrating its 175th anniversary, will be held from Friday, October 10 to Monday, October 13, at the Brigden Fairgrounds. Established in 1850, the fair’s location moved before settling permanently in Brigden in 1889. The theme for the 2025 fair is “Home Grown, Home Made, Farm Fresh”.
Anniversary events and attractions
The 175th anniversary fair will feature various attractions:
Agricultural showcases, including livestock competitions.
Homecraft exhibits.
Midway rides and family entertainment such as a Baby Show and Farm Olympics.
Live music and other entertainment.
A new Golden Ambassador competition for individuals aged 70 and older who have contributed to the fair.
A demolition derby.
