Chatham-Kent Police are reminding the public to slow down.
Stop treating area roadways like a race track.
They had 2 glaring examples on Wednesday.
An officer spotted a vehicle going 138 in a 90 zone on Middle Line Road just outside of Valetta.
A 29 year old Tilbury man had his young daughter and another passenger with him.
An hour later the officer clocked a guy doing 132 in an 80 on Wheatley Rd.
That’s stunt driving, and comes with a 7 day license suspension, and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
The Leamington man has a court date the end of July.
Just because there is less traffic on the roads doesn’t mean you have to gun it.
