Registration is now open for the 4th annual Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser.

Part of a national campaign to support the less fortunate, the local event raises money for programs and services at Neighbour-Link Chatham-Kent.

Network Coordinator Al Baker says the event will be held February 22nd at the Hub, the former Ursuline Chapel.

“We’re collecting people to take part in a fundraising walk to help Neighbourlink look after the hungry, homeless and hurting all across Chatham-Kent. This is what we do for a living and this is what we do for our community year around so we have the major fundraiser every year to we can continue the work,” says Baker. “Poverty has many faces and we try to address them all the best they can as they come into us.”
