Extending Free Transit Service For Vaccine Clinics

The municipality is expanding a program offering free rides to anyone going to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

Local case numbers have been rising over the last few weeks and public health is urging anyone who’s eligible to get the shot to protect themselves and the community as a whole.

RideCK fares are being waived for anyone travelling to or from a vaccine appointment or walk-in clinic through September 30th.

That includes any Chatham Conventional, Inter-Urban, Chatham Accessible, and Wallaceburg Accessible routes.

There are a number of clinics coming up through the month of September, including today at the Chatham site of the Health Alliance, and KSR International in Ridgetown tomorrow.
