Fairfield Park long term care home, Wallaceburg.

The Amazing turn around continues at a Wallaceburg long term care facility.

Fairfield Park has dealt with about 100 cases of COVID-19 in the past 6 weeks but today announced that number has fallen to 2.

One resident and one staff member are dealing with the virus.

The residents that were not effected were finally able to get the first round of vaccines last weekend.

Tracey Maxim the administrator says “despite the low number they are remaining vigilant. Finally, our community has been so supportive of us during this time and, although we could never adequately express our gratitude for the kindness shown to our residents and staff, we wanted to find a way to say thank you. We could not have done any of this without our friends and neighbours and so our staff have put together the following video. From our home to yours, Thank you!”
