An arrest has been made and police continue to search for a second suspect as part of an ongoing fraud investigation.
Chatham-Kent Police launched the investigation January 29th after an online banking profile was set up and several transactions, including a credit card application, were made without the owner’s consent.
Authorities were able to identify two suspects and just before noon on Tuesday, a 46-year-old woman turned herself in at police headquarters.
A warrant has been issued for the second suspect, a 47-year-old man.
