A family dog perished and a Chatham-Kent firefighter was taken to hospital by EMS after a residential fire on Pain Court Line on Tuesday afternoon.
Three local stations including Station #4 Dover, Station #15 Raleigh North and Station #19 Tilbury responded to the structure fire at 7092 Pain Court Line shortly after 3 PM.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation by both Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office.
Damages are unknown.
