A family dispute in Wallaceburg over the weekend has landed a local man with several charges.
Officers were called to the Lafontaine Street area on Saturday after a 21-year-old man was allegedly involved in a dispute with his mother and girlfriend.
Police claim the accused assaulted and threatened both women, and caused some damage to his mother’s home.
The suspect was found a short distance away and arrested without incident.
He’s now facing charges of two counts of assault and uttering threats, and one count of mischief.
He was released from custody but will have to be back in court March 4th.
