A tragic two-vehicle crash has claimed a life on the 401.
Emergency crews were called to the eastbound lanes near Colonel Talbot Road just after 3 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
One person was pronounced dead, although the victim’s name has not yet been released by authorities.
The eastbound lanes were closed for several hours as Middlesex OPP conducted their investigation and cleared the scene, but have since reopened.
More details are expected to be released later today.
