A post mortem on the body of the victim of Saturdays fatal apartment fire in Chatham has been conducted in London.
The deceased has now been identified as 40 year old Daphne Wilkins.
She was the lone tenant of the apartment on Merritt Avenue.
Firefighters responded to the blaze Saturday afternoon and found the body.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office has been investigating and so far neither the fire or the woman’s death are considered suspicious
