Local Liberals are getting their ducks in a row leading up to next fall’s federal election.

The Lambton-Kent-Middlesex Federal Liberal Association has issued a call for potential candidates to step up to the plate.

Anyone interested in running will need to fill out a nomination application, which is then passed on to the party for consideration.

In Chatham-Kent-Leamington, Katie Omstead has already been acclaimed as the Liberal candidate, going up against Conservative Dave Epp.

No word yet on candidates being put forward by the NDP in either riding.
