Chatham-Kent Police have put a dent in the opioid drug trade in the municipality.
Over 9 grams of fentanyl was seized during a bust in Shrewsbury yesterday, with a street value of just under $5,600.
Officers also found over $5,000 in cash and digital scales.
A 50-year-old woman is now facing trafficking charges.
Authorities say they remain committed to getting this deadly drug off the streets.
