An argument over a dog relieving itself in a garden has landed a Chatham man with charges.
Chatham-Kent Police say the accused and victim got into a fight after the dog lifted a leg in a bed of flowers.
Authorities say the victim began recording the man when the accused grabbed the phone and threw it to the ground, damaging the device. The man then allegedly attacked the victim himself.
The 45-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with mischief and assault.
He was released from custody with conditions and a date in court next month.
