A campaign throughout Southwestern-Ontario could give children in CK the chance to go to summer camp.
YMCA branches across Southwestern Ontario are asking the community to support their annual Fill the Bus CAMPaign.
The initiative running until July 15 aims to raise funds to ensure every child can attend camp regardless of their financial circumstance.
The YMCA offers day and overnight camp experiences to children and youth regardless of the barriers they might face. Through donations the charity hopes to make camping the same experience for future generations.
Every $150 raised provides a week-long day camp experience for a child in need in local communities.
Their three-year fundraising goal is $1.5 million to ensure all children are able to go to camp.
