A team of local agencies will be helping families in need prepare for the upcoming school year.
FreeHelpCK is joining forces with Outreach for Hunger, Chatham Goodfellows, and ROCK Missions, among others, for a Fill the Bus drive from 8am to 2pm this Saturday to collect school supplies, snacks and monetary donations.
Suggested food donations include juice boxes, healthy school snacks, canned fruits and vegetables, soup, pancake mix, and condiments, among other non-perishable items.
In Wallaceburg, buses will be parked at No Frills tomorrow.
Chatham drop-off locations include the Superstore, Sobeys, Giant Tiger, Dollar Tree, No Frills, and Food Basics.
There will also be buses parked at No Frills and Foodland in Tilbury, and Foodland locations in Dresden and Ridgetown.
