With less than a week to go, the United Way of Chatham-Kent is looking to the final push to reach its campaign goal.
Tom Slager, Director of Resource Development, says they’re tracking a little low at this point on the quest towards $1.725-million.
“We think we’re going to be at about 95% of our goal,” Slager says. “We’re currently somewhere around 80% and even in the next couple of days we’re expecting wrap-up stuff to come in and that should put us somewhere around 95%, but 95% isn’t quite 100%.”
The campaign officially ends January 8th, and the touchdown celebration is set for January 11th.
