Chatham-Kent’s former Integrity Commissioner has submitted his final annual report.

In it, Paul Watson reveals his investigated six complaints from last year, fielded about a half dozen calls from councillors, and wrapped up four other complaints carried over from 2018.

The most high profile was that of former Councillor Derek Robertson, who Watson found violated the code of conduct.

In every other case, the complaint was dismissed in one form or another.

The total cost was almost $9,000.

Watson’s contract expired in 2019 and he chose not to reapply. He was replaced by Mary Ellen Bench.
