Our hearts will be forever broken as we mourn the passing of a wonderful Mother and Nonna Marietta “Maria” Lanza Fiorilli on September 7, 2014. Born in San Giovanni in Galdo, Campobasso, Italy on May 14, 1926 and immigrated to Canada in 1958. Together with her husband Giuseppe they had two children, Pompilio and Maria Luisa whom she cherished dearly. Loving and adoring Nonna to Analisa. Maria will be sorely missed by many family and friends in Italy and Canada. She will be remembered by her generosity and kind spirit. The family will receive their friends at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Alphonsus Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire donations may be made to Kittenaid or to any animal rescue of your choice.
