A warning from Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services following a fire in Mitchell’s Bay.
Crews responded to the Diocese of Huron Anglican Hall just after 5 Monday afternoon.
Crews from stations in Dover and Tupperville brought the flames under control.
In the wake of the fire, officials are reminding all residents to avoid putting electrical cords across doorways or under carpeting, and never overload outlets or extension cords.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
