Fire Fighters Kept Busy in Chatham and Wallaceburg

$40,000 in damage is being reported following an early morning fire in Chatham.

Crews responded to a detached garage on Harvey Street just after 1 o’clock Monday morning.

No one was hurt.  Officials say the cause has been listed as undetermined.

Meantime, no injuries have been reported following a weekend house fire in Wallaceburg.

Crews from Wallaceburg and Chatham responded to a blaze on Wallace Street just before 7am on Saturday.

No word yet on the extent of damage done, or what sparked the blaze.
