Thousands of people are expected around downtown Chatham for this weekend’s FireFest.
Organizer Brent Denure says everything actually kicks off tonight at the corn maze in Thamesville.
“From 5-9 it’s going to be free to the public, all you have to do is show up with your kids and try to go through the maze,” says Denure “We’re going to have some of the early attendees sign in at the Travel lodge with their rigs and we’re gonna ferry them out there and have 4-6 rigs out there.
The main event on Saturday runs from 10 until 4 with over 70 antique fire trucks lining the downtown core. The day finished off with a parade along Grand Avenue from Victoria over to Keil Drive.
