It was a busy weekend for Chatham-Kent firefighters.
The Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services said fire crews responded to several structure fires between Friday and Saturday in the Chatham area.
On Friday, firefighters responded to 463 King St. W at 5:50 p.m. after a deck caught fire.
Then on Saturday, firefighters extinguished another deck fire at around 2:12 p.m. at 15 De Graeve Dr. Less than three hours later, fire crews responded to a garage fire at 559 McNaughton Avenue.
There were no injuries reported at any of the three fires.
However, firefighters also had their hands full in Pain Court on Saturday after responding to a house fire on Pain Court Line. Two people were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation and damage is pegged at around $500,000.
