Chatham-Kent Fire & Emergency Services is asking residents to be extra careful during Canada Day celebrations tomorrow. 
To avoid fire and burn injuries, they recommended attending organized fireworks displays.
Public Educator Whitney Burk says that if you choose to have a family or informal fireworks display, make sure you appoint a responsible person to be in charge, read and following directions carefully, and keep a hose or bucket of water close by just in case.
