The lion’s share of those vying for spots on Chatham-Kent Council next month, including mayoral hopefuls, will converge on Chatham’s John D. Bradley Convention Centre tonight for the first all-candidates forum of the campaign.
The event begins at 6 p.m.
Each candidate will have the chance to answer six pre-determined questions.
The topics include the non-profit sector, addressing the challenges of poverty, Chatham-Kent’s Age Friendly initiative, tourism, minimum standards of care in municipally-operated long-term care facilities, and support for the arts.
The evening will be moderated by Tom Slager of the United Way of Chatham-Kent.
