A group of local artists is holding its first public exhibit.
Plein Air Artists Chatham-Kent, or PAACK, is presenting its work with a show and sale at the Wallaceburg and District Museum this week.
The showcase of local art painted “en plein air” in outdoor settings around the area, highlighting the unique landscapes and vibrant colours that inspire them.
A reception will be held at the Museum on Thursday evening from 6 until 8, giving area residents the chance to view the paintings, meet and chat with the artists, and celebrate the beauty of Chatham-Kent through their work.
The exhibit will be on display through January 29. The museum at 505 King Street in Wallaceburg is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am-4pm each day.
