The Chippewas of Kettle and Stony Point First Nation are set to sign off on the Ipperwash Final Settlement Agreement this afternoon.

The document sets aside nearly three generations of sometimes stormy history.

The agreement is worth nearly $100-million dollars and includes land remediation.

The federal government took control of the contested lands in 1942 using the war measures act.

At the time the plan was to return it after the war.
