Community Living Wallaceburg has confirmed a total of five employees have tested positive for COVID-19.
Executive Director Deborah Hook says the first positive tests in Community Living were reported on April 3rd with one positive case and one “presumptive positive.”
On April 6th, two more positive cases were confirmed, along with the presumptive case coming back positive.
Another employee tested positive on April 7th, for a total of five cases among the Wallaceburg workforce.
All positive cases connected to Community Living Wallaceburg are among employees, with no confirmed cases among the clients Community Living Wallaceburg supports.
Hook says Community Living Wallaceburg continues to take all protocols and practices very seriously and are monitoring all employees and clients for any changes in health.
C-K Public Health has recently suggested accelerated testing for local Community Living organizations.
