The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority has now upgraded to a flood warning along the Sydenham River.
More rain is in the forecast today and over the weekend, which officials expect will result in minor flooding in Wallaceburg.
Already high water levels and saturated soils mean that any rain we do get could lead to elevated water levels in streams and river, flooding natural floodplains.
The flood warning will remain in effect until Sunday.
