Flood warnings are in place for both the Sydenham and Thames Rivers today as conservation officials continue to keep an eye on local waterways.
According to the St Clair Region Conservation Authority, there’s the potential for ice jams along the Sydenham, which could result in some minor flooding.
A number of roads have been affected by the high water levels.
Meantime in Chatham, the Thames is expected to remain high through the weekend.
Businesses along King Street that back onto the river are susceptible to basement flooding this morning, and low lying roads such as Siskind Court, William and Water Street may flood as well.
