A windy couple of days for those living along the Lake Erie shoreline.

The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority has issued yet another flood watch with moderate to strong winds expected into the weekend.

Officials say there’s some risk of flooding along Erie Shore Drive and in communities around Rondeau Bay and the bay side of Lake Erie.

For those on Lake St Clair, wind direction will play the biggest factor. A northerly wind could cause low-level flooding in the Lighthouse Cover area, but once things shift to the northeast, the shoreline would be largely sheltered.

Residents are asked to avoid the shorelines if conditions get rough. There could also be hazardous debris in the water that could be thrown onto the shore.
