The St Clair Region Conservation Authority has a flood watch in effect with water levels still quite high after all the rain we’ve had plus a little more in the forecast for later today.

Officials say the wind over the next day or so could potentially sow the flow out of Wallaceburg and raise water levels even higher.

Officials say there’s the potential for minor flooding in low-lying fields and parks and more ‘ponding’ because of the already saturated ground.
