With as much as 60mm of rain over the last few days, conservation officials are warning area residents to be careful.
The St Clair Region Conservation Authority has issued a flood watch, saying that localized flooding will continue to expand across low-lying areas, could lead to ponding and increased runoff from the already saturated ground.
Waterworks Road and Pretty Road near Stanley Line in Lambton County are being affected by the high water levels.
Officials warn that river banks can be very slippery with the possibility of minor erosion. Avoid flood areas and keep children and pets away from the water.
