Heavy rains over the last day or so have inundated area waterways.
The St. Clair Region Conservation Authority is urging residents to steer clear of rivers and streams as the banks are quite slippery and the water is moving swiftly.
Officials say the Sydenham River and its tributaries will overflow their banks with saturated ground and more rain falling today.
Pretty Road in St Clair Township has been closed between Stanley Line and McCallum Line because of flooding.
Conservationists will continue to monitor waterways over the next few days.
