An unexpected day off for students in Tilbury. 
Both Tilbury District Secondary and Tilbury Area Public Schools are closed today because of flooding.
The EarlyON child care at Tilbury Area Public School and the Before-and-After School Program will also be closed today.
A dozen school buses have been cancelled and 20 more are delayed this morning as the cleanup from last night’s storm continues.
Hundreds of residents in the area remain without power – Hydro One don’t expect to have all the lights back on until early this afternoon.
