Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory with near zero visibility in some areas.
School buses in Zone 6, that’s the Dresden and Ridgetown area, are cancelled this morning, all other buses are running as usual.
Motorists are advised to allow plenty of extra time to reach their destination today.
“Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations,” the agency says in an online statement. “If travelling, be prepared for areas of near-zero visibility. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.”
The fog is expected to lift later this morning.
