The Co-operators in Wallaceburg wants to help local families get ready for the school year.
A ‘fill the truck’ drive is being held tomorrow.
Organizer Nick Cadotte says they’re hoping to fill a Dodge Ram with as many supplies as possible.
“Anything school related, like snacks. Pay attention for the peanut allergies,” says Cadotte. “Cereals, pastas, anything nonperishable. there’s a lot of people that need help. We all see the struggles out there. You open up your hydro bill and fall back a little. So if we can help our community and our neighbours a little bit during this time, then why not?”
Donations can be dropped off at The Co-operators on Dufferin Ave. from 8am until 5pm.
