Premier Doug Ford has announced a large scale reopening of businesses in Ontario.
He said after carefully consulting with medical officials it was determined it’s time.
On Friday garden centres will open to the public.
On Saturday hardware stores.
On Monday retail stores with a street entrance for curbside pickup can begin operations but only if they follow the strict protocols in place.
Ford said ” we have been preparing to get more and more of our economy working again safely and cautiously because when it comes to reopening out economy I would rather be safe than sorry”.
He added “we will move with cautious optimism”.
Ford said the safety protocols will be strictly enforced.
