Ontario Premier Doug Ford was threatening increased measures today, if we are not able to turn things around in the battle against COVID-19.
He says we are in a crisis right now and the numbers have to stop going up.
“ Please, please just follow the protocols. We’re in a desperate situation and when you see the modeling you will fall off your chairs. Everything in on the table right now, further measures, because this is getting out of control and we have to do whatever it takes.”
He was referring to the new provincial modeling numbers that will come out next week.
He called them scary and frightening.
“ There’s gonna be a wake up call, a real wake up call, and no matter what the federal government, no matter what the provincial government does, or municipal government, if we don’t have the cooperation of the people, this is going to get out of hand, and I just can’t stress that enough.
There are rumblings we could go back into a full lockdown if things don’t change.
