More charges have been laid against a former nurse, accused of killing eight nursing home patients in southwestern Ontario.
This morning, provincial police announced that six more charges have been laid against Elizabeth Wettlaufer.
The 49-year-old was arrested back in October and charged with eight counts of first degree murder.
Following further investigation, Wettlaufer has now been charged with four counts of attempted murder, and two counts of aggravated assault dating back to 2007.
Four of the six new victims have since passed away, but police say their deaths weren’t connected to the accused.
