A pillar of the community in Blenheim will be remembered today.
Bob Forsyth, founder of Forsyth Travel, passed away on Monday at the age of 91.
Forsyth was dedicated to his community, a past-president of the Blenheim Rotary, the Christian Businessman’s Association, and the Canadian Branch of Compassion International.
He also was a big supporter of local sports organizations, including the Blenheim Open, United Way golf tournaments, and sponsoring local teams.
Visitation will be held this afternoon and this evening at McKinley Funeral Home in Blenheim, followed by a funeral service tomorrow morning at Blenheim Baptist Church.
