A little too much holiday cheer landed a number of local residents behind bars.
Between 8 o’clock last night and 6:30 this morning, police arrested four people for being intoxicated in a public place, one in Wallaceburg and the other three in Chatham.
Authorities say all four were deemed unable to care for themselves, and were taken into custody for their own safety.
The accused range in age from 28 to 57 years old, and were all released once they sobered up.
