Four people are facing charges under the Reopening Ontario Act after being caught going for a drive together.
Police pulled over what they describe as a suspicious vehicle on Grey Street yesterday morning.
Police say one of the passengers gave a false identity, but was identified as a 20-year-old from London. He’s now facing charges for obstructing police.
The other three people in the car were Chatham residents, but from two separate households.
All of the occupants were charged with holding an unlawful gathering under the province’s Reopening Act to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and each issued an $880 fine.
