Four new family medicine residents have begun their postgraduate training at Chatham-Kent’s hospital.
The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has welcomed doctors Sanya Sharar, Neelesh Taticherala, Amanjot Kaur, and Murad Mun to its local facilities.
“Chatham-Kent offers an exceptional learning environment where residents can build confidence, expand their clinical skills, and become part of a collaborative health care team,” said Dr. Zeke Milkovic, CKHA’s chief of staff, in a news release. “Throughout their residency, they will gain valuable hands-on experience across the full scope of Family Medicine while providing care to our community. We are proud to support the next generation of physicians and look forward to the contributions they will make during their time at CKHA.”
Dr. Taticherala holds a medical degree from China and has worked as a general practitioner in rural India. He continued his training in Internal Medicine in Germany before coming to CK.
Dr. Sharar completed her medical degree in Bangladesh before moving to Canada.
Dr. Kaur earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in India, and also completed postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Mun attended medical school in Bangladesh, where he also served as a Resident Medical Officer at a tertiary care hospital.
Hospital officials said the four physicians will be gaining valuable experience by working with CKHA’s health care team to provide support and direction as they complete the clinical portion of their medical training.
