An arrest has been made in connection to two separate thefts from vehicles in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police say the incidents happened June 5th and 6th, respectively with the victim’s wallet stolen in both cases and debit cards used at various stores around town.

With the help of surveillance footage, authorities were able to identify a single suspect in both incidents.

A warrant was issued for the man’s arrest.

On Tuesday, the accused was found and arrested. He’s been charged with two counts of possession of stolen property and three counts of fraud.

The suspect was released with conditions and a July court date.
