Join 99.1 CKXS this Saturday from 1-4 pm at the St. Clair College Capitol Theatre to celebrate the work of the Shriners and Masons – in a fun-filled, FREE, family-oriented environment!

During this 3 hour period exhibition of the Masonic Shrine Showcase, explanations, visual representations and opportunities will be made available to all in attendance.  It will be aimed at educating the public.

Invite friends, neighbours, acquaintances, families, nephews, grandsons, church members, brothers, co-workers, retirees, students, teams and anyone else you can think of to attend this afternoon of information.

Many people know of a relative, grandfather, father, uncle, great uncle, friend, teacher, doctor, veteran, who was a Mason. This is your chance to find out why they joined Masons and what they have accomplished and contributed to our history and culture over the past.

We have been fortunate in obtaining the appearance of the Patient Shrine Ambassador, Jeremy Gabriel, from Quebec, who will speak and sing during the afternoon programme, time TBA.  Jeremy is a Shrine patient who has overcome, with his family, multiple conditions to do what he does so beautifully.  He was born with multiple problems but he has made such progress that has included singing the National Anthem at a Montreal Bell Center Canadiens Game, singing for Celine Dion in Las Vegas and at an audience with Pope Benedict XVI. He has perfect pitch and his talent is truly remarkable.

This afternoon is family oriented and it will be time well spent!
