Some local events are getting a boost from the Municipality.
Council voted last night on which community events will be receiving grants through the Community Partnership Fund.
In Wallaceburg, Music By The River and the Wallaceburg Downtown Arts Festival received $5000 and $2500 respectively.
Dresden’s Kinstock and Sidestreets Community Dance received funding as well.
In all, about $200,000 is being given out to events and projects in Chatham-Kent.
