Over $5000 has been added to the coffers of a local group working to build a splash pad in Dresden.
A barbecue and mini-festival was held at Dresden Foodland on Saturday raising over $3600, and another $1700 in donations dropped off over the course of the weekend.
Organizers have a fundraising goal of $250,000 with a target completion date of 2020.
