A Wallaceburg man is facing charges, accused of using counterfeit money.
According to Chatham-Kent Police, the accused was wanted in connection to an investigation launched last Thursday, although specifics about the incident in question have not been released.
The 35-year-old was spotted by an officer on patrol on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg Sunday evening shortly after 8 o’clock.
The accused has been charged with possession of counterfeit money and uttering counterfeit money. He’ll answer to a judge in court next month.
